Regent College London (RCL) is delighted to announce the appointment of Carmai Pestell as our new Director of Quality and Governance.
Carmai is a highly experienced higher education professional with extensive expertise in governance, quality assurance, risk management and regulatory compliance. In her new role, she will provide strategic leadership in maintaining academic standards, strengthening regulatory compliance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to uphold excellence in teaching, learning and institutional governance.
Her career spans leading institutions, including City, University of London, UCL and SOAS University of London. Most recently, she served as Registrar & Secretary of TEDI-London, a newly established higher education provider that she helped launch. During her tenure, Carmai successfully led the Office for Students (OfS) registration process and secured New Degree Awarding Powers for the institution.
