Rafael Devers led off the bottom of the 10th inning with an RBI double that scored Tyler O’Neill and handed the Boston Red Sox a 3-2 win over the visiting Seattle Mariners on Wednesday.

Devers had three hits in the victory, which gave the Red Sox their second win in the three-game series. Boston prevailed 14-7 Monday before Seattle earned a 10-6 win on Tuesday.

It’s the first series the Red Sox have won since the All-Star break.

Jonathan Diaz (0-1) took the loss. Devers was the only batter he faced.

Zack Kelly (4-1) held the Mariners scoreless in the top half of the 10th to earn the win.

Josh Rojas hit a solo home run – his sixth this season – for Seattle. Rojas and Justin Turner each collected two hits for the Mariners.

Boston starting pitcher Brayan Bello gave up two runs on seven hits in 6 1/3 innings. He walked two and struck out seven.

Seattle starter George Kirby was pulled with one out in the sixth. He allowed two runs on seven hits, walked one and struck out two.

The Red Sox took a 1-0 lead in their half of the first. Masataka Yoshida walked, took third on a Devers double and scored on a Kirby wild pitch.

The Mariners tied the game on Dylan Moore’s two-out single in the fourth that drove in Cal Raleigh. Moore’s single extended his hitting streak to six games. He has reached base in each of his last eight games.

Seattle took a 2-1 lead when Rojas homered against Bello with one out in the fifth. It was the 17th home run Bello has allowed this season.

Boston pulled even in the sixth. Dominic Smith doubled with one out, and Danny Jansen followed with an RBI single to make it 2-2.

Mariners reliever Gregory Santos left the mound with two outs in the eighth. He appeared to be in pain after recording a strikeout for the second out of the inning.
