BALTIMORE RAVENS AT DALLAS COWBOYS
Jackson, a two-time NFL MVP, has to figure out how to turn yardage into points. The Ravens lead the NFL in total offense (417.5 yards per game) but are just tied for 14th in scoring offense at 21.5 points per game.
Of course, there is plenty of blame to spread. Losing on the road to the Kansas City Chiefs is one thing, but watching Gardner Minshew rally the visiting Las Vegas Raiders from 10 down in the fourth quarter to beat you is embarrassing.
Playing the Cowboys borders on must-win territory, and Dallas isn’t about to roll over after being pummeled 44-19 at home by the New Orleans Saints in Week 2. The Dallas players figure to be downright livid.
Dak Prescott recently signed the largest deal in NFL history at an average of $60 million per season. So far, his interception total (two) matches his touchdown count. The Cowboys are just 1-5 all-time against the Ravens, a trend that will continue.

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES AT NEW YORK METS
Philadelphia will take a second swipe at clinching the National League East when it visits the Mets. New York recorded a 6-3 victory on Saturday, with hotter-than-lava catcher Francisco Alvarez contributing a two-run double and his fifth homer in his past nine games.
The Mets stand two games ahead of the Atlanta Braves for the final wild-card spot. They are also one game behind the Arizona Diamondbacks for the second berth. New York is fast becoming that team that nobody wants to face in the postseason.
Phillies right-hander Zack Wheeler may have something to say Sunday. The Cy Young Award candidate has won four straight starts and has a 1.38 ERA during the stretch. New York counters with right-hander Tylor Megill, who is also faring well with a 2-0 mark and 1.69 ERA over his past four starts.
The Mets are 5-1 since losing star Francisco Lindor (back). That’s a good omen. No matter how well Wheeler pitches, expect New York to win late in the game or in extra innings.

INDIANA FEVER AT CONNECTICUT SUN
The Sun went 3-1 against Indiana this season, and two of the victories were by 21 and 17 points. Connecticut also played highly physical ball against Clark, especially early in the season when two of her first four pro games were against the Sun.
Connecticut star Alyssa Thomas sent Clark flying with a pick in one game, while pesky DiJonai Carrington has taken verbal shots at Clark in addition to hounding her on the floor. Carrington’s dad, Darren, was a safety in the NFL for eight seasons, so perhaps there is a vicious tackle to come during this best-of-three series.
The third-seeded Sun have more talent and playoff experience than the upstart Fever, who are in the playoffs for the first time since 2016. Connecticut is part of the postseason for the eighth straight season and lost in the WNBA Finals in 2019 and 2022. All the pressure is on the Sun.
The first two games are on the Sun’s home floor, and the Fever need to win one to set up the series-deciding game on their home floor. One thing we all know about Clark is she steps up even more in big games. You can count on her hoisting shots from all over the floor.
